First Public Look at Lanterner!


The Lanterner public development page has been launched! I'll be posting updates on the game's progress throughout the process of development, and I'll also be listening for feedback and ideas from you lovely people. I'll also be posting some behind-the-scenes peaks at the code and asset creation for those interested.

You can sign up to be an early-access alpha tester! If selected, you will receive unfinished versions of the game until its release, at which point you will receive the full version of the game free of charge with some additional benefits (these are yet to be determined, but one running idea is a completed save file and alternate game-modes unlocked from the start without having to complete the game to unlock them; an enemy randomizer mode is planned). As an alpha tester, you will be in direct contact with me, be asked provide feedback on the game after new versions are distributed, be able to vote on features, and your name will appear in the game's credits. 

Edit: For alpha testers, the first alpha will (hopefully) be launched around June 1st. ** The game will be in an unfinished state! ** The world is not complete, the art and aesthetic look are not finalized, and there are a few known bugs that may or may not be patched up by the alpha 1.0 launch. Alpha 1.0 will essentially be a mechanical trial, and I'll be looking for feedback on how the game mechanics feel.
